SZIU in Cornell University News

Last year a call for student mobility application was announced on the website of Cornell University. The application was open for Cornell students who planned to participate in a short-term professional research internship at Szent Istvan University’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences as a part of their studies. As a result of the promotion, three undergraduates were selected for the programme: Ms Isabella Culotta, Mr. Logan Goddard and Mr. David Ospina, who worked on their research projects in the research groups led by Dr. Attila Barczi, Dr. Ákos Horváth and Dr. Péter Nagy during the summer of 2019. The students presented their projects at the 2019 Global Fellows Program Showcase at Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in November 2019. The article on the event gives a very positive feedback of the programme and it also enhances the promotion of the new call for 2020: https://cals.cornell.edu/news/global-fellows-program-celebrates-first-year-undergraduate-research-experiences-hungary

Szent Istvan University is deeply committed to further develop the cooperation with Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Since the funding of student mobilities has been provided within the framework of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme, it is an annual challenge for Szent Istvan University to submit a successful application for the programme.
