All applicants shall:
- complete all sections of the application form
- attach reference forms, recommendation letters from referees (one is good, two is better!)
- enclose applicable academic documents:
- BSc applicants must enclose an official copy of their secondary school final examination.
- MSc applicants must enclose a copy of their BSc degree certificate and a transcript.
- enclose evidence of their English ability, e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, etc. (if English is not their first language)
(All applicants will take a short English Examination upon arrival at Szent Istvan University. Those who do not meet requirements will be required to undergo a preliminary course or "0 year," where they will study the English language and take other introductory courses.)
- attach a brief Curriculum Vitae.

All documentation must be in English. Translations from other languages must be certified.

Both BSc and MSc Programmes are self-financed courses, and tuition fees will be charged. These fees cover education, research and organised field trips, excursions.
*The Preliminary course is for students who need extra coursework to meet the criteria of their programmes.
**The difference in cost between the normal tuition and that of the preliminary course will be reimbursed to the student if they are required to attend the preliminary course.

What happens after you send your application?
Student applications are considered by the leaders of our BSc and MSc Programmes after all of the required documents have been received. All applications will have been processed shortly after the June 30th application deadline. Applicants will then receive a short email regarding the decision of the faculty and, if accepted, further instructions which will include:
- payment instructions
- further necessary documentation
- the date when students need to arrive at Szent Istvan University
- the date when the course starts
- accommodation possibilities
"When can I start my visa application process?"
If accepted, you will receive the letter of acceptance, which is necessary for your visa application after we have received payment for tuition and registration. In the case of a visa refusal, these costs will be refunded
