1906 The farming schools operating in Magyar-Ovár, Debrecen-Pallag, Kassa, Kolozsmonostor and Keszthely are raised to the rank of farming academies.

1920 The agricultural is established at the Faculty of Economics, which was set up at the University of Sciences

1934 The József Nádor University of Technical and Economic Sciences is included as part of the high-level agricultural institutions:

• Forest Engineering Department (Sopron)

• Agricultural Department Keszthely; Magyar-Ovár; Debrecen-Pallag

• Veterinary Department.

1945 The Hungarian University of Agricultural Sciences was founded and in

1950 moved to Gödöllõ

2000 Szent István University was founded
